My first visit to Paris was on my honeymoon, very, very romantic and a memory I still cherish. But, putting aside the occasion, I found the city to have an irresistible attraction for me. The light, the colours, the buildings and the steps all made me want to paint them.

Here I am 18 years later and I still find the place fascinating and I still want to paint it. I do have a less ridged criteria for what I paint now, but Paris still is a must for me.
