We download music and films so why not art?

Downloading an album and playing it on our computer or portable player is now something we take for granted. Major artist have published their music directly to the web so their audience can download it instantly. Unknown artists have been able to get their work heard much more quickly and by more people.

Now art can benefit from this incredible tool.

Of course there will be people who dismiss it as not proper art and there will also be those who want to buy originals. But there will be a lot of people who would like to browse the web to find beautiful works of art and then be able to download it, right there and then!

The image file can be taken to a reputable frame shop where it can be printed using the Giclée method  (pronounced "geeclay") it’s a French word which means sprayed. Giclée prints are made using one of the highest quality fine art reproduction methods available today and is the preferred method of artists and galleries. The colours are more accurate and are also less likely to fade than litho.

So you can select the painting you want, download it, take the file to your frame shop, choose the size and frame, and you’ll have a unique work of art on you wall in a fraction of the time.
